The Employee Relations Manager at NCH Corporation plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in employee treatment. Responsibilities
- Coaching and counseling on employee issues
- Conducting in-depth investigations and developing action plans
- Educating management and employees on corrective actions and terminations
- Partnering with business leaders and Legal for effective communication
- Owning HQ campus engagement events and activities
- Collaborating with L&D to execute training for Managers and Associates
- Training Managers and Employees on policies and procedures
- Assisting with new hire onboarding
- Reviewing and revising current policies for compliance
- Coordinating responses to unemployment claims
- Performing other duties as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of corporate HR experience with similar responsibilities
- SHRM qualifications are a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Leadership capabilities
- Knowledge of EEO policy and diversity promotion
- High ethical standards and integrity
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Technical skills in HRIS, Internet Applications, Excel, Word, and Performance Management Systems
