The Employee Relations Manager at NCH Corporation plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in employee treatment. This position involves guiding managers in resolving employee conflicts, interpreting company policies, and overseeing employee engagement initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Coaching and counseling on employee issues
  • Conducting in-depth investigations and developing action plans
  • Educating management and employees on corrective actions and terminations
  • Partnering with business leaders and Legal for effective communication
  • Owning HQ campus engagement events and activities
  • Collaborating with L&D to execute training for Managers and Associates
  • Training Managers and Employees on policies and procedures
  • Assisting with new hire onboarding
  • Reviewing and revising current policies for compliance
  • Coordinating responses to unemployment claims
  • Performing other duties as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of corporate HR experience with similar responsibilities
  • SHRM qualifications are a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Leadership capabilities
  • Knowledge of EEO policy and diversity promotion
  • High ethical standards and integrity
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills
  • Technical skills in HRIS, Internet Applications, Excel, Word, and Performance Management Systems
