The Employee Relations Partner is a pivotal role within Ryder System, responsible for providing consistent and tactical Employee Relations consultation to both Managers and Employees. This position is designed to resolve employee issues and provide guidance on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations. The Employee Relations Partner will conduct thorough Human Resources (HR) investigations to ensure that all employee issues are addressed in compliance with company policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations. This role is essential in managing resolutions and providing recommendations to Operational Management and Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) as necessary. In addition to resolving employee issues, the Employee Relations Partner will analyze and interpret data to monitor employee relations trends. This analysis will aid Operations Management in proactively addressing these trends, thereby minimizing potential conflicts and enhancing workplace harmony. The position also involves providing guidance and interpretation of policies and procedures to mitigate the company's legal liability. The Employee Relations Partner will oversee the daily administration of reported concerns within the ServiceNow and Navex systems, ensuring that all concerns are handled efficiently and effectively. The role requires conducting and participating in all phases of local HR investigations, which includes developing investigation plans and ensuring that investigations are conducted fairly, neutrally, and in a timely manner. The Employee Relations Partner will also partner with Operational Management, Business HR, Labor Relations, and Legal Teams to create solutions for complex Employee Relations issues. This position is remote, but candidates must reside in the Southeast Region to facilitate occasional travel to company sites as needed.
