About the position

Exegistics is seeking an Employee Relations Partner for our valued client in the Rockford, IL area. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with benefits that includes a 401(k) match of 8%. The Employee Relations Partner will plan, develop, and implement initiatives to drive positive workforce engagement across Operations in both our Manufacturing and Distribution Center locations. This role is critical in developing and maintaining a positive, productive workplace culture. You will be responsible for addressing employee concerns, fostering open communication, and working on a team that will be implementing programs that enhance employee satisfaction and retention. As the Employee Relations Partner, you will serve as a primary contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance, support, and resolution strategies. You will conduct thorough investigations regarding complaints and conflicts, ensuring fair and consistent treatment. Additionally, you will develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards. Facilitating communication between employees and management will be a key part of your role, as well as advising managers and supervisors on best practices for handling employee concerns and performance issues. You will also coordinate and conduct training sessions on topics such as workplace ethics, harassment prevention, and conflict resolution. Monitoring and analyzing trends in employee behavior and satisfaction will be essential to proactively address potential issues. Collaboration with HR and management to develop strategies for employee engagement, recognition, and retention will be part of your responsibilities, along with assisting in the development and implementation of organizational culture initiatives. Keeping abreast of legal and regulatory changes affecting employee relations and ensuring organizational compliance will also be critical to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of experience in an employee relations role
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive issues with empathy and confidentiality
  • Proven ability to mediate conflicts and facilitate discussions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
