About the position

The Employee Relations Partner at Firefly Aerospace plays a vital role in fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. This position involves managing employee relations, addressing workplace concerns, and ensuring compliance with company policies while promoting an equitable environment for a diverse workforce. The role requires collaboration with Human Resources Business Partners and may involve travel to the California launch site as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high level of discretion and ethical judgment.
  • Conduct workplace investigations that withstand legal scrutiny.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, employment laws, and regulations to maintain compliance and mitigate organizational risk.
  • Present findings and recommendations to all levels of leadership, including those with dissenting opinions.
  • Develop and deliver training for employees regarding employee relations.
  • Act as a primary resource for employees on employee relations issues, ensuring timely resolution of workplace conflicts and concerns.
  • Provide direct feedback and engage in difficult and sensitive conversations.
  • Analyze employee relations data to generate comprehensive reports, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of HR experience with a focus on Employee Relations/Investigations.
  • 3+ years leading complex workplace investigations.
  • Experience managing complex employment-related investigations, including conducting intake meetings, background research, investigative interviews, report-writing, corrective actions, and debrief meetings.
  • Expertise in investigating complaints involving violations of Company policy, including allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and bullying.
  • Experience partnering closely with cross-functional partners including HRBP's, Legal, Ethics and Compliance, and Security.
