About the position

The Employee Relations Specialist at CLS Bank International is responsible for addressing HR-related requests and inquiries, providing guidance to both internal and external customers. This role involves identifying and resolving HR issues, processing personnel transactions, and administering the employee performance review process. The position requires effective communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to HR related requests and inquiries
  • Provide guidance to internal/external customers and stakeholders
  • Administer the employee performance review process and related employee recognition awards
  • Perform on-going quality control to ensure efficiency and accuracy of processes and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Familiarity with various human resource issues
  • Basic skill following, interpreting and applying relevant data/instructions to guidelines, procedures, practices and regulations
  • Effective database and presentation software skills
  • Effective organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions
  • Effective skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines
