About the position

As an Employee Relations Specialist at Aston Carter, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Human Resources team. This position is integral to the HR department, where you will work closely with the VP of HR and the HR Manager. Your primary focus will be on assisting in investigations and handling various administrative functions. This includes conducting thorough research on labor laws and HIPAA policies to ensure compliance and best practices within the organization. You will also be responsible for assisting with performance reviews, conducting exit interviews, and effectively communicating HR policies to employees. Additionally, you will compile and analyze employee data, maintain accurate employee files, and ensure that all documentation is up to date and compliant with legal standards. In this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of HR processes and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Your organizational skills will be essential as you manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders within the company. This is a fully on-site position located in East Hartford, Connecticut, where you will be expected to engage directly with employees and management to foster a positive work environment.
