The Employee Relations Specialist at Zolon Tech plays a vital role in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with labor laws. This position involves addressing employee concerns, conducting investigations into complaints, and collaborating with HR to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees and management on employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to resolve conflicts and concerns.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and management to develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze employee relations trends and metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, staying up-to-date with changes and updates.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for managers and employees on topics such as conflict resolution, performance management, and company policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee relations policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company goals and values.
  • Mediate and facilitate discussions between employees and management to resolve conflicts and improve working relationships.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee relations cases and investigations.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives related to employee relations and HR programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
  • 3 years of experience in employee relations (Required)
  • 1 year of experience in grievances (Required)
  • 2 years of experience in US employment law (Required)
  • 3 years of experience in conflict management (Required)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with HRIS and Workday

Benefits

  • Contract position with pay ranging from $20.00 to $38.00 per hour
