About the position

The Employee Success Business Partner (ESBP) Director at Salesforce plays a pivotal role in aligning human resources strategies with the business objectives of the Industries & Revenue Lifecycle Management (RLM) Product & Engineering organizations. This position serves as a strategic partner to senior executives, focusing on talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development to drive business value and innovation. The ESBP Director will work closely with various stakeholders to implement people initiatives that enhance employee success and foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as a trusted advisor to Senior Executives and leaders within Salesforce's Product & Engineering organizations.
  • Partner closely with Product GMs, engineering and product management executives, and people leaders to develop, align and execute on the people strategy for their respective organizations.
  • Work hand-in-hand with ES partners and/or centers of excellence to educate, advise and influence client groups on issues involving employee engagement and retention, leader development and coaching, compensation planning, organizational design and development, and change management.
  • Partner with business client groups and corporate ES teams to identify, innovate, design and implement people initiatives and efforts that align to the needs and strategies of the business.
  • Support and work with business teams to understand current and future goals and trends that may impact workforce needs and initiatives.
  • Proactively engage with leaders on people strategy through workforce planning, location strategy, organization design and structure.
  • Responsible for the planning and execution of appropriate talent management activities that will help to seed future leadership, strengthen current leadership bench, uncover succession plans, and create internal mobility opportunities for employees and leaders.
  • Drive diversity & inclusion initiatives within a globally distributed organization, leveraging talent insights, robust equality analytics, recruiting and attrition metrics.
  • Collaborate with the office of Equality and Equality Business Partner team to continue to move the needle on Equality at Salesforce.
  • Act as a change-agent as the business continues to rapidly grow and adapt to every changing market dynamics, competitive landscape, and technological advancement.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the CoEs to develop organizational and people strategy to improve the performance and effectiveness of their business groups.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in HR Business partnering experience.
  • Strong business acumen with a business-first perspective on problem solving.
  • Ability to think globally and project multiple aspects and impacts of issues into the future.
  • Knowledge of HR/ES programs and processes (e.g. compensation planning, performance management, workforce planning, talent management and various employment/labor laws).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and consultation skills.
  • Ability to create strong and trusted relationships with the business and key stakeholders.
  • Build a strong internal and external network of high-quality relationships with business leaders across the industry.
  • Ability to manage time and workload effectively, juggling conflicting priorities and needs.
  • Works effectively under pressure in a fast-paced and often changing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
