About the position

The Employer & Alumni Engagement Program Administrator at Texas McCombs is responsible for leading and managing employer engagement initiatives and alumni programming to enhance the recruitment experience for McCombs students. This role involves creating large-scale recruiting programs, coordinating alumni-related activities, and developing strategies to foster connections between students and employers. The administrator will also track engagement metrics and manage logistics for various programs.

Responsibilities

  • Create large scale and custom recruiting programs for current McCombs students to engage with employers.
  • Vet venues and vendors as needed and coordinate program.
  • Lead existing McCombs recruiting programming and/or create new ones as determined by market needs.
  • Create and manage employer communications and marketing to support McCombs recruiting programs, employer sign ups and training.
  • Support recruiting events across all McCombs programs.
  • Create and coordinate alumni related programming to support McCombs students.
  • Assess program needs and create programs that allow McCombs students to connect with alumni.
  • Develop communication and marketing strategies to increase alumni participation.
  • Collaborate with Corporate & Foundation Relations to create new career management engagement and partnership packages.
  • Liaise with Program Office Student Affairs to manage employer engagement with student organizations.
  • Expand experienced hire strategy across all McCombs Programs.
  • Manage programming set up, logistics and outcome recaps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in program management or event coordination.
  • Strong communication and marketing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in alumni relations or employer engagement.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in higher education or university settings.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems for tracking engagement.
  • Knowledge of recruitment strategies and best practices.
