About the position

The Employer Engagement Coordinator at Oklahoma State University (OSU) is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to employers seeking to hire OSU students and alumni for various employment opportunities. This role serves as a liaison between assigned academic colleges and employers, managing employer relations and recruitment efforts. The coordinator will also oversee employer contacts through the Career Services database and lead special projects as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employers interested in hiring OSU students and alumni for part-time, full-time employment and internships.
  • Serve as a liaison for assigned academic colleges to streamline employer relations for specific majors or industries.
  • Manage employer contacts and activities through the Career Services employer database and online recruitment tools.
  • Identify, recruit, and enroll new employers to hire OSU students and alumni.
  • Lead special projects as requested and assist with other Career Services tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Superior interpersonal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and tools.
  • Ability to work within an online customer relations management database.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree.
  • One year experience in sales, customer service, human resources, public relations, or other equivalent.
