About the position

The Coordinator, Employment Services & Benefits at Milton Hershey School (MHS) plays a crucial role in providing high-quality customer service to new hires and retirees regarding their onboarding and benefits enrollment. This position involves extensive documentation processing, auditing, and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operations within the Human Resources Department. The role is vital in supporting the mission of MHS by ensuring that employees are well-informed and prepared for their benefits and employment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning, Hershey Trust Company, and the M.S. Hershey Foundation with benefits enrollments.
  • Conduct informational meetings and create informational newsletters.
  • Support retirees with benefits.
  • Process relevant documentation and perform related data entry.
  • Conduct extensive auditing and proactive troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including payroll and benefit vendors.
  • Manage miscellaneous benefits programs such as fitness reimbursements, Hershey Park passes, and service awards.
  • Provide reports, scanning, and filing.
  • Provide general administrative support within Human Resources, including annual open enrollment and front desk coverage.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Three or more years of office administrative support, preferably with benefits administration.
  • Proficient in the utilization of technology including Microsoft applications and databases.
  • HRIS Peoplesoft / Taleo experience desired.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated skills in high-quality customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Demonstrated skills in multi-tasking while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

Nice-to-haves
