About the position

The Employment Law Attorney position at our dynamic and growing law firm in Oklahoma City focuses on representing clients in various employment law cases, particularly on the plaintiff side. The role involves handling cases related to discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage disputes, while also providing legal advice and guidance to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a variety of employment law cases on the plaintiff side, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and hearings.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on employment-related matters.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure comprehensive client representation.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state Bar and in good standing.
  • 3+ years of legal experience, with a focus on employment law.
  • Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous defense experience is a plus but not required.
