About the position

Clarivate is seeking a dynamic Employment Relations Partner to join our Human Resources Team! In this role, you will partner with business leaders and employees to manage Employment Relations (ER) casework and support the resolution of challenging workplace matters. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a fair and consistent process through the application of Clarivate's policies and practices. As a true analytical leader for your business segment, you will evaluate and socialize ER trends proactively, providing sound advice and guidance to both the business and the broader HR team. You will be expected to partner with business leaders and colleagues to provide guidance and resolution in workplace matters. This includes consulting with business leaders on the interpretation and application of corporate policies, practices, and applicable laws and regulations. You will also field colleague complaints and concerns, conducting basic workplace investigations as required. Regular communication with business leaders regarding investigations and the appropriate corrective actions will be essential. Recognizing risk factors and applying appropriate employment laws and regulations to colleague matters will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will assist with employment relations work streams for organizational changes such as redundancies or realignments, and help business leaders and colleagues with leave and accommodation administration. Maintaining thorough documentation of workplace matters and assisting with creating and maintaining team processes and procedures will also be part of your role. The US Employment Relations Team supports the USA, Latin America, and Canada with employment issues and is part of a growing global team. Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders and colleagues to provide guidance and resolution in workplace matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
  • 5 years of experience in Human Resources; 3 years directly supporting in an Employee Relations capacity.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and statutes that govern employment policies and practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
  • Professional in Human Resources certification preferred.
