About the position
The Employment Services Manager at Merakey is responsible for promoting the Employment First philosophy both internally and externally. This role involves representing Merakey at various events and leading a team of employment services professionals while also providing direct services to individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. The manager is expected to utilize best practices, technology, and community networking to empower their team and support clients effectively.
Responsibilities
- Promote the Employment First philosophy throughout Merakey and externally.
- Represent Merakey and Employment Services at events, conferences, meetings, and trainings.
- Lead a team of employment services professionals and support their development.
- Utilize best practices and technology in service delivery.
- Network within the community to enhance service offerings.
- Provide direct services to individuals with disabilities as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Four (4) years experience in human services (employment services) preferred.
- Employment Training Certification obtained within one month of employment.
