About the position
The EMR Analyst at HealthTexas is responsible for providing technical support and expertise for the eClinicalWorks EHR system. This role involves collaborating with clinic and administrative staff to ensure the application meets their needs, contributing to the organization's growth while upholding its mission and values. The analyst will analyze problems, recommend solutions, and provide training and documentation to users, ensuring effective use of the system.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and subject matter expertise for eClinicalWorks EHR.
- Analyze problems and errors produced by eClinicalWorks applications and users.
- Recommend controls by writing improved procedures to correct issues.
- Design improvement modifications by writing requirements and documenting processes.
- Monitor project progress by tracking activity and resolving problems.
- Provide help desk support and end-user training.
- Maintain clear documentation of support issues in ServiceDesk.
- Assist in developing issue documentation skills of teammates.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience with eClinicalWorks as an analyst or administrator.
- At least four years of business application analysis, project management, or related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree or higher preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with the use of computers and electronic medical records.
Nice-to-haves
- Medical office experience preferred.
- Training experience preferred.
