About the position

The EMS/Ambulance Communications Center Director manages a 24/7 ambulance communications center, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires flexibility in scheduling and encompasses administrative, technical, and supervisory responsibilities, along with critical thinking and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operations of a 24/7 ambulance communications center.
• Perform administrative, technical, and supervisory work for the communications center.
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Supervise communications center employees and provide guidance.
• Interpret rules and regulations to meet operational needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of EMS Communications Center management experience.
• EMT-B or EMT-P license is mandatory.
• EMD certification is a plus.
