About the position

We are currently seeking dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for a full-time position in Stockton, CA. As an EMT, you will be responsible for responding to both emergency and non-emergency medical requests, providing high-quality care and treatment to patients in need. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals and public safety personnel to provide effective emergency medical services. In this position, you will assess patients' conditions, determine the necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment. Documentation of patient information, conditions, and treatments is crucial, and you will be expected to maintain confidentiality and uphold patient rights at all times. Additionally, you will take pride in ensuring a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients, utilizing your EMT skills in communication, medical equipment handling, and cleaning procedures. As part of your responsibilities, you will operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws related to emergency medical response vehicles. You will also participate in community programs to enhance AMR's image and foster strong community relations. This role is vital in providing compassionate and quality medical care, and you will be part of a team that values integrity, respect, and excellence in service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests for assistance.
  • Assess patients' conditions and determine necessary care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • California State EMT License.
  • CA State Driver's License.
  • Ambulance Driver's License.
  • Medical Examiners Certificate.
  • CPR/American Heart Association BLS Card.
  • Driving record compliant with company policy.
  • Pass Physical Agility Test.
  • Proof of Vaccinations.
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.
