About the position

The Instructional Designer for Enablement will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality instructional materials and programs aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of the Revenue team members. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with strong instructional design experience, particularly in technology-enabled learning environments.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify training needs and define learning objectives.
  • Design and develop engaging and effective instructional materials, including e-learning courses, instructor-led training, job aids, and multimedia content.
  • Utilize instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to create comprehensive training programs.
  • Develop assessments to measure learning outcomes and ensure alignment with training objectives.
  • Develop engaging audience experiences within enablement to drive gamification & engagement.
  • Maintain a central repository of training materials and resources.
  • Continuously evaluate and update training materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Use learning management systems (LMS) to track, manage and deliver training programs.
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to improve instructional materials and delivery methods.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and enablement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Training and Development, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, preferably in a B2B corporate or technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and multimedia editing software.
  • Experience with gamification and interactive learning technologies.
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Experience in governing content on enablement platforms such as Highspot.
  • Experience with LMS administration and delivery of online training.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build effective working relationships.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools to measure training effectiveness.
  • Knowledge of sales processes and methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience with HR Technology or SaaS products is a plus.
