About the position

The Encompass Administrator plays a crucial role in optimizing the company's loan origination system by implementing, configuring, and customizing it to meet business needs. This position requires a deep understanding of the loan origination workflow and collaboration with various departments to ensure compliance and efficiency in mortgage lending processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, customize, and optimize the loan origination system (LOS).
• Work with internal departments and external vendors to ensure system integrations operate efficiently.
• Maintain LOS users, roles, profiles, security settings, and loan access settings.
• Manage business rules for data entry and workflow progression, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to the LOS.
• Create technical release notes and deployment guides for production support.
• Document all changes made to the LOS.
• Provide regular project updates to management and assist in risk identification and solution recommendations.
• Assist management in product and business planning through requirements development and analysis.
• Propose new product features and updates based on business needs.
• Manage internal user inquiries and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
• Perform system analysis and simulation testing for potential impacts of changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Five years of experience with Encompass.
• Five years of experience in residential mortgage lending.
• Strong understanding of mortgage lending business, including compliance and regulatory requirements (TRID).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement solutions effectively.
• Ability to analyze current environments and recommend changes within established timeframes.
• Collaboration skills to share knowledge and train team members.
• Basic understanding of JavaScript, VB code, and business rule writing within the Encompass platform.
