The EndPoint Engineer is responsible for the development, deployment, and support of all desktop operating systems, applications, and images using Intune. This role is crucial in ensuring that all computers and applications are patched in a timely and consistent manner, thereby maintaining the integrity and security of the IT environment. The EndPoint Engineer will create deployment packages in an enterprise environment and deploy and maintain applications in a virtual desktop environment. This position requires the packaging of applications, operating systems, and software updates utilizing tools such as Intune, SCCM, and MDT. In addition to technical responsibilities, the EndPoint Engineer is expected to implement configuration and security policies via Intune and develop procedures for testing applications prior to deployment. Excellent documentation skills are essential, as the engineer will document customizations and changes made during the packaging process and provide monthly reports for associates and senior staff. Customer service is a key focus, and the engineer must excel at providing world-class support, acting as a subject matter expert, and providing training to end-users as required. The role also involves participating in Go Live support of major IT initiatives, leading continuous improvements of IT Customer Service functions, and providing backup support for the ITSD Analysts and IT Service Desk Manager. The EndPoint Engineer may be assigned team leadership responsibilities and will assist the IT Operations Team with strategic initiatives and tasks. The position requires the ability to incorporate guiding principles of Operational Excellence and Absolute Customer Commitment into all interactions, responding with urgency, owning issues, exceeding customer expectations, and driving resolution. Overall, the EndPoint Engineer plays a vital role in maintaining high standards of IT service delivery and ensuring that technology solutions effectively support business operations.
