About the position

The End User Solutions Engineer at Insight Global is responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions that enhance end user productivity and satisfaction. This role involves collaborating with business and IT leadership to develop technical roadmaps, assess technology needs, and drive innovation in end user services. The engineer will also manage the execution of projects, ensuring that solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and IT leadership to develop business cases and define requirements.
• Drive innovation and promote new technologies to improve end user technology solutions.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and business users.
• Understand and resolve business problems related to end user technologies.
• Incorporate user feedback to influence application/product design.
• Lead and oversee work by internal and third-party vendor teams.
• Engage across the IT organization on end user technology projects.
• Design solutions to improve workstation deployment technologies such as Autopilot.
• Design solutions to enhance mobile device management capabilities using InTune and Apple Business Manager.
• Engineer solutions to address life cycle management blockers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years relevant experience in end user services engineering, or a high school diploma and 8 years relevant experience.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in managing Windows and Mac workstations and mobile devices using InTune, Autopilot, and Group Policy.
• Experience with Apple Business Manager and InTune for supervising Android and iOS devices.
• Ability to communicate with and advise non-technical senior business leaders.
• Experience in assessing and prioritizing technology solutions to enhance end user productivity.
• Proficient in writing project proposals and cost-benefit analyses.
• Expertise in M365 portal and productivity applications.
• Skilled in gathering and documenting functional and non-functional requirements.
• Experience leading and supporting technical execution with internal and vendor teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Power BI and Powershell for managing workstations.
