About the position
ChristianaCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Outpatient Endocrinology Team. The role involves providing medical management and care for patients with endocrinology-related conditions, particularly diabetes, in collaboration with endocrinology specialists. The position is full-time, with practice hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and does not require weekend or holiday work.
Responsibilities
- Develop, direct, and provide medical management for patients in the outpatient endocrinology setting.
- Collaborate with endocrinology specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Manage care for patients with diabetes and other endocrinology diseases.
Requirements
- Master's degree as an Advance Practice Nurse or as a Physician Assistant.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with diabetes and other endocrinology diseases preferred.
