About the position

The Endodontist position at Heartland Dental offers an opportunity for a self-motivated professional to provide high-quality endodontic care in a supportive and well-established practice. The Endodontist will have the autonomy to diagnose and treatment plan their own cases while benefiting from extensive administrative support and existing relationships with suppliers and insurance companies.

Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat abnormalities in the development of jaws, position of teeth, and other dental-facial structures.
• Provide high-quality endodontic care, including treating diseases of nerve, pulp, and other dental tissues affecting health and function of teeth.
• Examine patients to determine endodontic and oral health needs, utilizing x-rays and other diagnostic equipment and procedures.
• Diagnose and provide treatment counseling to patients in a comprehensive manner.
• Educate patients on the benefits of proper oral and dental hygiene.
• Assist with leading and supervising office team members.

Requirements

• DDS or DMD degree
• Current dental license in state of hire
• Current certification specialty in endodontics
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience (preferred but not required)
• Strong work ethic and outgoing, personable chair-side manner
• Flexibility and a positive attitude
