About the position

The Endoluminal Sales Manager is responsible for selling the ION Endoluminal System to both new and existing hospitals within a designated territory. This role requires a deep understanding of diagnostic robotics, strong solution selling skills, and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders in healthcare institutions. The position involves managing the sales process, providing technical presentations, and ensuring that sales goals are consistently met while fostering an inclusive and diverse team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complex sales process of ION Endoluminal Systems into new hospitals
  • Build clinical and administrative support through technical presentations, executive meetings, marketing events, and system test drives
  • Identify key institutions, generate market awareness, and drive sales of the ION Endoluminal System within an assigned sales territory
  • Effectively manage transition of initial sale and installation to the clinical sales team to drive procedural volume and growth
  • Achieve quarterly sales targets
  • Work with the Endoluminal Sales Director to develop a sales plan for the ESM's local territory
  • Build advocacy teams at each hospital
  • Develop initial contact and relationship with CEO and senior hospital administrators
  • Organize and manage the sales process
  • Develop expert level knowledge of primary diagnostic bronchoscopy procedures
  • Make business case for system purchase
  • Resolve contractual issues and coordinate system installation upon purchase approval
  • Handle all communications and administrative follow-up

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years medical device sales experience
  • Knowledge of the endoscopy/bronchoscopy/operating room environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate
