About the position

The Endpoint and Email Security Analyst at Capgemini is responsible for implementing and managing security solutions for endpoints and email systems. This role involves developing security policies, monitoring for suspicious activities, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with security standards. The analyst will also play a key role in promoting security awareness within the organization and participating in incident response planning.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage endpoint security solutions, including antivirus, anti-malware, intrusion detection, and data loss prevention (DLP) systems.
  • Develop and maintain endpoint security policies and procedures.
  • Monitor endpoint activity for suspicious behavior and investigate security incidents.
  • Patch and update endpoint systems to address vulnerabilities.
  • Manage mobile device security, including BYOD policies and mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
  • Implement and manage email security solutions, including email filtering, spam protection, and advanced threat protection (ATP).
  • Develop and maintain email security policies and procedures.
  • Monitor email activity for suspicious behavior and investigate email-borne threats.
  • Respond to phishing attacks and other email-based threats.
  • Manage email encryption and digital signatures.
  • Participate in incident response planning and training.
  • Investigate security incidents related to endpoints and email.
  • Contain and remediate security breaches.
  • Document incident response activities and lessons learned.
  • Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
  • Promote a security-conscious culture within the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in endpoint and email security.
  • Strong understanding of endpoint security technologies and solutions.
  • Experience with email security technologies and solutions.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001).
  • Certification in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) is a plus.
  • Experience with endpoint security solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, etc.).
  • Experience with email security solutions (e.g., Proofpoint, Mimecast, etc.).
  • Familiarity with incident response methodologies.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) is a plus.
