About the position

CIC Group is seeking an experienced Endpoint Systems Engineer to join their IT team in Fenton, MO. This role focuses on managing endpoint devices and servers using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and Microsoft Intune, with an emphasis on automation and security. The engineer will be responsible for developing policies for device enrollment and compliance, troubleshooting complex issues, and maintaining endpoint management technology platforms. This hybrid position requires collaboration with IT team members and participation in an on-call support rotation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee deployment, configuration, and management of endpoint devices and servers using MECM/SCCM and Intune.
  • Develop policies for device enrollment, compliance, and security across various endpoints.
  • Ensure timely endpoint update deployment and report on compliance and security posture.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as they arise.
  • Maintain endpoint management technology platforms to ensure availability and security.
  • Create and maintain system and procedural documentation for IT and user audiences.
  • Uphold all IT policies and follow best practices.
  • Provide backup support for other team members as needed.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and Microsoft Intune.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft core infrastructure technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, DFS Namespace, Certificate Authority/PKI).
  • In-depth understanding of managing mobile devices (iOS, Android) in both fully managed and BYOD scenarios.
  • Experience managing software distribution, patch management, and OS deployment using MECM.
  • Expertise in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting tasks.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and provide high-quality support to end-users.
  • Ability to produce accurate and thorough documentation and reports.
  • Highly professional, detail-oriented, organized, and trustworthy individual.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written communication in English.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience supporting a multi-national IT infrastructure utilizing a Zero Trust security model.
  • Familiarity with Azure services, particularly in managing and securing cloud-hosted virtual machines.
