About The Position
The Wake County Human Service's Economic Self-Sufficiency division has over 225 Eligibility Caseworkers who provide critical resources for the citizens of Wake County. Case managers determine eligibility based on factors such as income, family size, medical information, medical evaluations/ health conditions, resources, deductible expenses, and needs. Applications are processed in NCFAST (the electronic case management system) and OnBase (the document management system) to issue benefits and perform case management functions. The case managers spend the majority of time within NCFAST and OnBase to determine the clients' eligibility. With Cooler temperatures here, Wake County families need your help keeping warm this season. Are you energetic and interested in working with the Energy Team? This work will allow you to assist low income families who experience heating, or cooling related crisis. We are seeking an Energy Assistance - Eligibility Caseworker II to join this dedicated team.
