Responsibilities

  • Process initial benefit applications for LIHEAP.
  • Process CRISIS applications for LIHEAP.
  • Interview clients to gather necessary information.
  • Coordinate with heating vendors to facilitate assistance.
  • Review applications to determine eligibility for benefits according to regulations.
  • Perform data entry and complete related tasks under supervision.
  • Undertake other related responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience in general office work including public interviewing, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions.
