About the position

Northeast Air Sealing (NAS) is seeking a skilled Energy Auditor/Estimator to join their team. This role involves conducting detailed energy audits, preparing energy-saving recommendations, and managing projects related to energy efficiency improvements. The successful candidate will leverage technical knowledge and analytical skills to enhance customer experiences and ensure compliance with safety regulations while promoting energy efficiency and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of NAS services to address customer needs and improve customer journeys.
• Conduct detailed energy audits of residential and commercial buildings, providing accurate estimates for insulation improvements.
• Manage all aspects of assigned insulation/weatherization projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, promoting safety practices to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Perform operational support duties as assigned to ensure efficient functioning of the work unit.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Environmental Science, Energy Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy auditing, energy management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and intermediate knowledge of Google Suite.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and manage multiple projects.

• Lead Paint RRP Certification (within 6 months of employment)
• Building Performance Institute (BPI) certification (within 6 months of employment)
• Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) or similar certification preferred.
