About the position

The Energy Efficiency Associate Program Manager at Resource Innovations is a pivotal role focused on leading and managing outreach and engineering teams for large-scale commercial energy efficiency programs. This position requires a strong background in energy efficiency, project management, and the ability to develop and implement strategic plans while fostering relationships with clients and stakeholders. The Associate Program Manager will be responsible for tracking program metrics, managing subprojects, and ensuring timely delivery of program deliverables within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Track and report metrics regarding revenue, margin, contractual KPIs and risks.
  • Manage subprojects and tasks including development of work plans to meet goals, aligning staff assignments, and providing performance reports and forecasts both internally and to clients.
  • Organize and maintain databases for the coordination, collection, analysis and reporting of data.
  • Identify, define, quantify, track, and drive the development of program deliverables on time and on budget.
  • Continuously assess project progress to goal and develop innovative and creative solutions to new issues and/or market dynamics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to write, train, and establish and implement policies and procedures to meet program needs and KPIs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • New Jersey residence or willingness to relocate to New Jersey.
  • Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Economics, Business, or related field of study is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience with Commercial and/or Residential electric or natural gas utility energy efficiency programs.
  • A strong understanding of energy efficiency programs, demand-side management and energy efficiency measures.
  • Demonstrated experience with project management.
  • Demonstrated experience performing data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while balancing schedules and budgets.
  • Excellent writing, interpersonal, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.
