This position emphasizes energy analysis, product recommendation, implementation, and overall risk management. The Energy Procurement Manager will work closely with a national network of retail energy suppliers and energy consultants across North America to facilitate daily procurement activities in all deregulated power and gas markets. The role is integral to the company's commitment to sustainability, driving end-to-end solutions in real estate from site selection to zero waste. Key responsibilities include creating written proposals for priority opportunities and driving procurement agreements to contract execution. The manager will analyze the scope of supply and contractual obligations to fully understand the customer's functional needs. Presenting pricing recommendations to both internal and client management is essential, as is facilitating the contracting process and confirming contract executions with suppliers. The position also requires maintaining and organizing data and communication related to pricing activity within the company and with third-party suppliers, as well as assisting in the creation and distribution of market intelligence across the firm. Continual assessment and improvement of the working knowledge of colleagues on the Energy Procurement team is also expected, fostering a culture of ingenuity and collaboration.
