About the position

The Energy Procurement Manager at JLL is responsible for sourcing electricity and natural gas supply offers for commercial and industrial clients. This role focuses on energy analysis, product recommendations, risk management, and contract negotiations while interfacing with a national network of energy suppliers and consultants. The position supports strategic procurement initiatives and requires strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Create written proposals for priority opportunities and drive procurement agreements to contract execution
• Analyze scope of supply and contractual obligations to understand customer needs
• Present pricing recommendations to internal and client management
• Facilitate the contracting process and confirm contract executions with suppliers
• Identify procurement risks, opportunities, and market forces during projects
• Ensure major procurement risks and changes are covered in valid contracts
• Share standard methodology and conduct training sessions across the platform
• Develop strong support relationships with functional leaders and site operations personnel
• Utilize market intelligence to recommend executable buying strategies
• Communicate market intelligence and risks to clients as required
• Maintain and organize data related to pricing activity
• Assist in the creation and distribution of market intelligence across the firm
• Facilitate the development of proprietary software platform
• Assess and improve the working knowledge of colleagues on the Energy Procurement team

Requirements

• University Degree in Science, Engineering, Math or related fields
• 5+ years of previous energy industry experience
• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities
• Demonstrated track record as a transformative leader and collaborator
• Cross-functional communication and relationship building skills
• Superb multitasking ability and management
• Exceptionally organized and efficient
• Task-oriented and self-motivated
• Advanced Microsoft skills
