About the position

As an Energy Efficiency Sales Specialist at Environmental Systems Company, you will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic energy projects that align with client goals. You will drive business growth through expertise in sustainable energy solutions, building efficiency, and grid modernization technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop comprehensive energy projects that align with clients' goals in decarbonization, energy efficiency, building efficiency, commissioning, retro-commissioning, electric vehicles (EV), renewables, and grid modernization (battery and energy storage).
  • Pursue new business opportunities through market research and analysis, with a focus on sustainable energy solutions and advancing the transition to cleaner energy.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and the competitive landscape to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities in decarbonization, future fuels, renewables, and grid modernization.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and services that align with market trends and customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry leaders.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences to enhance brand visibility and foster client engagement.
  • Conduct regular client visits and presentations to strengthen relationships and promptly address client concerns.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in a related field from a four-year college or university is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Energy and Sustainable Energy Solutions sales industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of energy efficiency, building efficiency, commissioning, retro-commissioning, EV, renewables, and grid modernization (battery and energy storage) markets and technologies.
  • Proven ability to sell business-to-business services within the energy sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
