About the position

The Energy Efficiency Sales Specialist at Environmental Systems Company is responsible for leading the development of innovative energy projects that align with clients' goals in decarbonization and energy efficiency. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, executing go-to-market strategies, and building strong relationships with stakeholders to promote sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop comprehensive energy projects in decarbonization and energy efficiency.
  • Actively seek out new business opportunities through market research and analysis.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Identify new market opportunities in decarbonization, renewables, and grid modernization.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences to enhance brand visibility.
  • Conduct regular client visits and presentations to strengthen relationships.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities and client interactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from a four-year college or university (preferred).
  • 5+ years of proven experience in the Energy and Sustainable Energy Solutions sales industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of energy efficiency, building efficiency, EVs, renewables, and grid modernization markets.
  • Proven ability to sell business-to-business services within the energy sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
