About the position

As an Engagement Manager in IT Strategy for the Intelligence Community at Gartner, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their technology strategy projects. This position is integral to a project delivery team that focuses on executing IT strategy initiatives while advising clients on how technology can facilitate various mission outcomes. You will leverage Gartner's extensive research and insights to help C-suite executives make informed decisions that can transform their businesses. Your work will encompass a range of strategic priorities, including Big Data and Analytics, Application Rationalization, Enterprise Enablement, Sourcing, Cloud Strategy, Digital Acceleration and Transformation, Contract and Cost Optimization, and Security and Risk Management. In this role, you will be expected to manage multiple client priorities simultaneously, ensuring that each project aligns with the client's strategic goals. You will also be responsible for fostering trust-based relationships with team members and senior executives, which is essential for successful project delivery. Your ability to provide and receive constructive feedback will be crucial in maintaining a high-performance team environment. The position requires a commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to problem-solving, as you will be expected to assist in the creative development of solutions and strategies tailored to client needs. The ideal candidate will have a verifiable and active TS/SCI clearance with CI or Full Scope Polygraph, along with prior experience in a problem-solving capacity, such as a solution or technical architect or analyst. Experience working with one or more of the eighteen U.S. federal government intelligence agencies is highly preferred. An advanced degree and prior consulting experience will also be advantageous in this role.   • Experience working with one or more strategic priorities such as Big Data, Cloud Strategy, or Security and Risk Management.
  • Experience working with one or more of the eighteen U.S. federal government intelligence agencies.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and ability to assist in creative solution development.
  • Ability to manage multiple client priorities simultaneously.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Prior consulting experience preferred.
