About the position

As an Engagement Manager in IT Strategy for the Intelligence Community, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through the complexities of technology strategy consulting. Your primary responsibility will be to lead project delivery teams that execute IT strategy projects, advising clients on how technology can enable various mission outcomes. This position requires a deep understanding of the strategic priorities that drive the success of organizations within the intelligence community, including areas such as Big Data and Analytics, Application Rationalization, Cloud Strategy, and Security and Risk Management. You will leverage Gartner's extensive research and insights to help clients make informed decisions that align with their strategic goals. In this role, you will be expected to manage multiple client priorities simultaneously, ensuring that your team delivers high-quality results that meet or exceed client expectations. You will also be responsible for fostering a collaborative environment where team members can thrive, providing constructive feedback, and embracing best practices for continuous improvement. Your ability to build trust-based relationships with both team members and senior executives will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative solutions and strategies that address client challenges, showcasing your intellectual curiosity and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities

  • Lead project delivery teams in executing IT strategy projects for clients in the Intelligence Community.
  • Advise clients on how technology can enable various mission outcomes.
  • Manage multiple client priorities simultaneously, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Build trust-based relationships with team members and senior executives.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions and strategies to solve client problems.

Requirements

  • Verifiable and active TS/SCI clearance with CI or Full Scope Polygraph.
  • Prior experience in a problem-solving capacity such as a solution/technical architect or analyst, preferred.
  • Experience working with one or more strategic priorities such as Big Data, Cloud Strategy, or Security and Risk Management.
  • Experience working with one or more of the eighteen U.S. federal government intelligence agencies.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and ability to assist in creative solution development.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Prior consulting experience preferred.
