About the position

As an Engagement Manager at Digital Matter, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver strategic marketing solutions for clients in the retail and consumer sectors. This role is pivotal in driving scalable marketing strategies, enhancing customer engagement, and optimizing marketing performance. You will work closely with senior leaders to identify growth opportunities and ensure that marketing initiatives align with broader organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships and provide thought leadership in media-driven marketing solutions.
  • Understand client needs, identify issues, create hypotheses, execute analysis, and present recommendations to decision makers.
  • Lead the day-to-day execution of client projects, taking ownership of overall project outcomes.
  • Utilize expertise to formulate and execute strategic plans in media modeling, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Collaborate with senior executives to define business objectives and align on marketing initiatives.
  • Manage and mentor cross-functional teams on marketing strategy and operational execution.
  • Develop and implement customer-centric marketing frameworks across various channels.
  • Present strategic recommendations to C-level clients, delivering actionable insights.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in digital marketing and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure marketing campaigns are integrated with organizational goals and cohesive across teams.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 8 years' experience in consulting with a focus on growth, marketing, media, and/or retail.
  • Deep understanding of media channels and their impact on customer acquisition and retention.
  • Strong analytical skills for data storytelling and decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and client management skills, with the ability to influence C-suite executives.
  • Experience managing and mentoring teams to deliver high-impact marketing strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with strategic and creative thinking.
