About the position

The Engine Systems Verification Project Lead Engineer at PACCAR is responsible for leading the verification of engine and aftertreatment systems, ensuring product quality and performance through organized testing and analysis. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance the reliability and durability of PACCAR's powertrain technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and prioritize calibration, verification, and testing activities for engine and aftertreatment systems.
  • Conduct project-level technical analysis and track key performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with program stakeholders to improve product quality, reliability, performance, and durability.
  • Review engineering reports and presentations to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Work with global PACCAR engine system integration teams and project managers to support the verification team.
  • Maintain positive relationships with other groups within PACCAR.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in product development.
  • Strong knowledge of powertrain testing and emissions requirements.
  • Familiarity with current diesel engine and exhaust aftertreatment technology.
  • Experience with data collection, analysis, and test planning.
  • Excellent analysis, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and a rigorous approach to engineering projects.
  • Willingness to manage personal workload and adapt to shifting project demands.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a technical (STEM) field.
