About the position

The Engineer 2, Technical Product Sales Support role at Comcast involves expanding sales territories and managing a diverse range of commercial customers. This position serves as a technical and network subject matter expert, focusing on delivering comprehensive solutions that meet customer needs while collaborating with various internal teams to support the sales and implementation process.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and needs to understand how Comcast products and services can be technically applied to meet the needs of the customer.
• Translate technical design requirements and create and deliver sales presentations that demonstrate technical knowledge of Comcast products and services.
• Play a key role in the preparation of RFPs by designing cost-effective solutions and solving prospective configuration challenges.
• Set appropriate expectations and follow up with the customer on project timeline and completion.
• Drive sales closure to shorten the sales cycle and ensure goals and objectives are achieved.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering, Architecture Product Engineering, Systems Engineering, Service Delivery, Product Management, Product Development, HQ Sales Operations and Marketing teams to fully support the sales and implementation process.
• Recommend products to meet customer needs.
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Maintain regular, consistent and punctual attendance, including nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience in technical sales support or a related area.
