Genesis10 is seeking a Data Engineer for our client in the Healthcare industry. This Direct Hire Permanent position is located in Addison, TX, with a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite. The Data Engineer will primarily focus on analytical processes and will be responsible for implementing database solutions and best practices in the realm of machine learning projects. The role requires essential software engineering skills and a strong foundational knowledge of data movement and orchestration in both on-premises and cloud environments. The Data Engineer will support and align with business decisions by analyzing raw data, constructing and maintaining data systems, and improving data quality and efficiency. This position involves implementing programming languages to develop and test architectures that enable data operations for predictive (i.e., machine learning/AI) or prescriptive modeling. The Data Engineer will be expected to effectively facilitate group discussions, analyze and develop raw information, and maintain various data sources. They will work to improve data quality and efficiency to build data systems and pipelines, identify opportunities for data acquisition, and implement ETL methods to prepare both structured and unstructured data for predictive and prescriptive modeling. Additionally, the Data Engineer will leverage data serialization techniques to meet project needs for use in various reporting platforms and develop analytical tools and programs suitable for users, customers, and stakeholders within Concentra. Collaboration with Business Intelligence (BI) ETL Developers, Data Architects, Data Scientists, Reporting Analysts, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) will be crucial to understand business goals and prepare for integration and user acceptance testing methods. The role also includes producing technical documentation, participating in information-sharing activities, and serving as an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting. Proactive identification of issues and opportunities that impact the business use of reports is essential, as is ensuring compliance with change management policies and procedures.
