Responsibilities
- Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
- Observe all house and safety rules, departmental procedures, and security procedures.
- Assist with inventories as scheduled.
- Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule.
- Perform upkeep, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting on ice machines, refrigeration units, and air handling units.
- Conduct general maintenance in accordance with the standards of Shaner Hotels and respective franchises.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience, preferably in a hotel; franchised hotel experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of all mechanical equipment critical to the operation of the building.
- Proper chemical handling and disposal knowledge.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and comply with deadlines for work assignments.
- Ability to interact positively with hotel personnel and provide prompt solutions to problems.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
