About the position

The Engineer, eCom & Testing Analytics position at Chico's FAS, Inc. is responsible for managing and maintaining eCommerce testing and web analytics support. This role involves creating tests, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize site operations and enhance the customer journey. The position also includes reporting, dashboard building, and ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the testing and optimization processes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct competitive and data-driven analysis and industry research to identify gaps and opportunities for the testing roadmap.
  • Analyze data to support project goals, evaluate project progress and results, and translate results into specific business actions using Google Analytics.
  • Assist in the development and execution of measurement and reporting that accurately reflects business results.
  • Lead testing analysis leveraging testing and analytics tools.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality and integrity, aligning with current processes for information maintenance and testing accuracy.
  • Lead or participate in multiple testing projects by completing and updating project documentation and managing project scope.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop, guide, and launch tests.
  • Work closely with eCommerce operational teams to enhance workflow processes and maximize existing product capabilities.
  • Collaborate with teams to design, build, maintain, and manage advanced Data Studio dashboards that meet product requirements.
  • Work cross-functionally to gather insights that will improve business results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or Information Technology required.
  • 6+ years of demonstrated application in online testing, web analytics, data, or business intelligence field.
  • Understanding of online marketing and testing principles, including conversion optimization, audience segmentation, A/B testing, and web analytics.
  • Strong web analytics skills with applications such as Google Analytics 4, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, A/B Tasty, Google Cloud Platform, Looker, and Tableau.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and support multiple projects of various complexities.
  • Key knowledge of web analytics tools and testing software.
