About the position

As an R&D Electrical Engineer at US Tech Solutions, you will play a crucial role in developing advanced capital systems and ureteroscopes for urology patients and clinicians. This position emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams to tackle complex engineering challenges while fostering an environment that encourages innovation and learning from mistakes.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical hardware development, integration, and testing for capital systems and ureteroscopes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional experts to solve complex engineering and business challenges.
• Translate highly technical results into easily understood recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Manage third-party designers, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
• Evaluate advanced and integrated technologies using analytical and bench-testing approaches.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Proficiency with lab equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum/signal/logic analyzers.
• Solid background in Electrical Engineering concepts such as circuit theory and semiconductor physics.
• Proven self-starter who addresses critical issues and ambiguous requirements.
• Skilled problem solver and hands-on troubleshooter, with experience in problem-solving methodologies (i.e. Shainin, DOE, etc.) being a plus.
• Experience designing electrical systems and specifying electrical components.
• Experience working in a regulated environment.
• Familiarity with Standards and Compliance such as 60601 is a plus.
