About the position

This position is a key contributor within the Sustaining team, focused on enhancing customer experience by providing reliable and accurate technical product knowledge and solutions related to Water-Source Heat Pumps (WSHP) and their accessories. The role involves assisting customers with inquiries, guiding them through product selection, and collaborating with engineers and product managers to address special requests.

Responsibilities

• Provides measurable contributions to sustaining initiatives.
• Understands general HVAC design and application principles, as well as general engineering aptitude and business process skills.
• Provides knowledge and guidance for the application of water-sourced heat pump (WSHP) equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial systems via email and phone inquiries.
• Relays customer provided information and specifications to System Engineers, Control Engineers, and Product Managers for special customer requests for quotes (RFQ's).
• Assists with the creation of application training and materials.
• Builds customer confidence and is committed to increasing customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Related Field or applicable work experience.
• Entry Level; previous internship or work experience preferred.
• Familiar with computer programming languages.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office suite products.
• Familiarity with industry standards and agency compliance.
• Understands how to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, submittal documentation, engineering mechanical drawings, electrical diagrams, and operating control sequences.

Nice-to-haves

• IGSHPA training experience is a plus.
• EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Certification - Universal, is a plus.
• Familiarity with product offerings and key features.
