About the position
The position involves providing technical support and expertise in ensuring a safe and compliant manufacturing environment. The role focuses on process design, quality issue resolution, and the commercialization of new products and processes, while adhering to safety-sensitive standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all employees and compliance with governmental regulations and corporate policies.
- Participate in developing process designs that conform to sanitary design standards and meet customer requirements.
- Provide technical support and analysis in resolving process quality issues and developing in-process control procedures.
- Assist operating teams in resolving quality and productivity issues on a daily basis.
- Analyze production, waste, and delay information to identify opportunities for maximizing output and reducing waste.
- Coordinate technical support for the commercialization of new products and processes, including process trials and validations.
- Develop process and equipment technical documentation and assist with technical training implementation.
- Read and create P&ID drawings and functional specifications for Chemical Mix processing controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering or a relevant engineering field.
- Education or experience in statistical applications and in-process quality management systems.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to learn advanced statistical applications.
- Basic math and computer skills with the capacity to learn advanced methodologies.
- Well organized with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to develop training materials and train adult learners.
