About the position

The Engineer I/II - Structural position at Electric Boat is an entry-level role focused on structural engineering within the submarine construction domain. Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot construction issues in the shipyard.

• Develop knowledge in submarine structures including pressure hulls, bulkheads, and component foundations.

• Communicate effectively with customers and shipyard trades.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 0 - 4 years of experience in structural engineering.
