The EI will also be involved in maintaining tools and vehicles used for field deployment, preparing documentation of activities, and assisting with budgetary responsibilities related to individual projects. Building and maintaining good relationships with community members and business partners is also a key aspect of this role. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, geosciences, or a related field, with a preference for candidates who have a Master's degree or equivalent experience. The Engineer I will be expected to engage in safety training and maintain compliance with EarthScope's policies, particularly when involved in field operations. Physical demands include the ability to lift heavy equipment, work in extreme conditions, and travel frequently for project needs.
