About the position

The Maintenance Technician at Hard Rock Bristol is responsible for performing preventive and predictive maintenance across various systems including HVAC-R, electrical, plumbing, and general facility repairs. This role involves responding to maintenance service calls, ensuring the upkeep of the facility, and providing superior guest service while mentoring team members. The technician will also be involved in event setups and teardowns, as well as maintaining technical logs and documentation of work performed.

Responsibilities

• Create an atmosphere that encourages guests to choose Hard Rock Bristol for gaming entertainment.
• Build and retain guest relations while mentoring team members for superior service.
• Perform overall maintenance, upkeep, and repairs of the facility.
• Respond to maintenance service calls in a timely manner.
• Repair, replace, and perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and kitchen equipment.
• Perform skilled maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
• Adjust temperature settings on a Building Automation System.
• Monitor Emergency Generators and associated equipment.
• Perform event setups and teardowns safely and timely.
• Install and repair doors, furniture, office partitions, flooring, and other related items.
• Prep and prepare drywall for painting and paint/stain walls and furniture.
• Create service requests to document work performed and complete all assigned work orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain technical logs and records of relevant data.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance job experience performing general maintenance duties (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of all aspects of maintenance, repair, and service with the ability to troubleshoot problems.
• Must obtain and maintain all licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Virginia Lottery regulations.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in two trades and/or 3-5 years of experience in maintenance.
• Ability to operate trucks and light motorized equipment.
