About the position

As a Customer Service Representative - Field Services at Invitation Homes, you will provide essential administrative support and customer service to residents and partners in a dynamic environment. Your role will involve monitoring maintenance requests, managing technician schedules, and serving as the primary contact for maintenance-related concerns, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality resident experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor maintenance and turn & rehab dashboards and task center daily to ensure efficient response times to all work requests and communications.
  • Manage the Maintenance Technician and/or Superintendent daily schedules & assignments to ensure optimum efficiency.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for maintenance-related resident concerns and collaborate with internal teams to ensure appropriate corrective action.
  • Review and approve/decline work order proposals, verifying proper scope, documentation, and pricing.
  • Assist in researching and coordinating vacant utility issues to ensure utilities are activated in a timely manner.
  • Manage and facilitate eviction schedules and personal property holds; coordinate eviction clean-outs and/or personal property removal.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or GED
  • Proven experience in customer service or administrative functions
  • Experience in the property management or maintenance industry is helpful
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Effective customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe.
