About the position

The Engineer in Training (EIT) position at Martin/Martin, Inc. offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in structural engineering. The role involves working on a variety of projects, including new building designs and existing building investigations, while collaborating with a team of professionals in a dynamic and innovative environment. Responsibilities

  • Utilize computer design and graphics software to complete project Construction Documents.
  • Study and apply building code, material code and/or jurisdictional requirements to complete project design calculations under the supervision of the Project Manager.
  • Assist Project Manager in Construction Administration, including checking of submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting field observations.
  • Communicate and coordinate project design with clients, other team consultants, and contractors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited engineering curriculum
  • Has passed FE Examination
  • 0-4 years' experience
